The other day I was pretty bored so I decided to spruce up some old sunglasses on the spur of the moment. I was just about to get rid of these because they were too plain for my taste, but after this DIY, I actually like them all over again!
All you need is some tempura paint, old sunglasses, and a paint brush. I painted careful thin lines on the areas where I wanted the sunglasses to be outlined. After I plotted out where I wanted the white outline to be, I laid on the paint thick. I lined the inner part of the glasses and added a white detail to the tips as well and the nose rim. Another possibility would be to outline the outer edges only, or add sparkles for pizzazz.
And that's it!Hope you enjoy!
*be gentle because the paint may chip. But the reason I like that it's so temporary is because I want to try new patterns!
Saw you on chictopia. You already have some cool, useful, informative posts in the short time you've been up. I have the same mindset as you when it comes to fashion, so I think your blog will definitely be my kind of thing. Keep up the good work!
